Vision is seeing what is not there yet. Seeing something before it is. Many people talk about their vision and it is not arranged with their gifts or passion at all. So I want to ask which you question, what are you passionate about? Think about that for a moment. What drives you? What gets you ecstatic? What makes you get up out of the bed every morning? What moves you?
Our passion is what fuels our vision. If you have trouble identifying a clear and compelling vision for your organization, start looking at what you're passionate about. Set out to grow, refuel and increase your passion.
Start hanging out with other passionate people. Passionate people are contagious. When you start to encircle yourself with other people who are passionate, it will help you rekindle your passion. Attend your company's events. This extends back to encircle yourself with passionate people. Nothing will rekindle your passion for your business more than being around like-minded passionate people. Seeing new leaders being presented with awards; walking across the stage, will get that passion burning in you again to get after it again. You will also observe new products, services, tools, etc... and that will motivate you as well. Listening to the leaders in your company share from the stage will invigorate you to realize you can win and this will quickly awaken the passion inside of you.
We sometimes lose that passion we used to have because we simply quit thinking. We got so embroiled in life that we didn't remember to keep thinking. To influence leaders, you have to have a big vision and a big dream. When you dream big, it will apply off on your other leaders. When you have a corporation full of passionate dreamers with superior and compelling ideas, watch out!
Remember what this industry is all about. Don't ever forget that the beauty of network marketing is that the ordinary person can do something extraordinary! This one fact gets me jacked up everyday! When i think that the everyday, ordinary Joe can get started in network marketing with a dream and put some action behind that dream he can achieve something extraordinary!
Ongoing passion comes from personal growth. If you are not growing you are dying. Make it a target to see the books, listen to the Compact disks, watch the Digital video disks, attend the trainings and events. Adversity refines passion. You cannot experience success without compromise. It just cannot happen. You must discipline yourself to say no to some good stuff to say yes to the best. You have to refute lesser things to gain greater things.
When you get off course, make the required corrections and get back on course. NASA experts say anytime they launched the first manned mission to the silent celestial body, the spaceship was on course 3% of that time period! That means they spent 97% of the journey repairing their course!! We need to do the same principle in our business. When we go through adversity on our journey, if we don' course correct, it can quench our passion. True leaders recognize when they get off course from their vision and they make the required adjustments in their business to get back on course.
