It's easier and potentially more valuable in the end.
Getting the word out about you and your film should start early in the game. Publicity was always important, but now it is in addition than before. In our internet-connected world, word of mouth has returned as one of the most important ways to advertise, with the likes of social mediums such as Twitter. People will want to hear the story behind the story. Often it's important to help gain an audience which will be committed to your journey and therefore, curious to see the final product.
